Crests, Symbols and Paradise Again: The Art Behind Our Designs

Every Axwell design in our store starts with something from his world: a logo, a group or a record. Here is what is printed on them, and where each one comes from.

What is the crest?

The crest is a spade shape with a dotted A at its heart, framed by a laurel wreath, with AXWELL on a ribbon below. Axwell Gold Crest prints it in shining gold, and Axwell Crest keeps it in a single colour for a cleaner look.

What does the Λ mean?

The open Λ is the symbol of Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Axwell's duo with Sebastian Ingrosso, who debuted in 2014. Axwell & Ingrosso Logo sets the Λ above both names in thin capitals, and Axwell Lambda Symbol keeps only the shape. Axwell Striped A cuts a huge letter A into horizontal stripes, no words at all.

Which designs are about Swedish House Mafia?

Axwell Swedish House Mafia. The group name in tall serif capitals above three ink-splash dots, one for each member.

Axwell Angello Ingrosso. The three names, stacked and joined by ampersands.

Axwell Mafia. One word in heavy grey capitals, for the fans who don't need the rest.

What about Paradise Again?

Paradise Again was the group's first studio album, released in 2022, and a world tour followed. Axwell Paradise Again Tour has TOUR on the front and the album title stretched into barcode-like stripes on the back. Axwell Paradise Again Swirl wraps the title in a ring around a warped, liquid swirl.

And IBZA?

Axwell IBZA Stack stacks the letters IBZA three times in heavy, wide type, each row sliced off at the top. It comes in white ink and, as Axwell IBZA Stack Black, in black.

Which ones are two-sided?

Only Axwell Paradise Again Tour is printed on the front and the back. Every other design is front only.
